Similar to granules, both coated and uncoated limestone lumps, varying in size from 10mm to 100mm or more, have specific applications. Uncoated limestone lumps are predominantly used in steel production and chemical processes due to their fluxing properties and high calcium carbonate content. Coated limestone lumps are used in specialized applications where controlled release or specific properties are required, however, this is less common compared to other limestone forms.
